1. Do you have sheetmusic of...?
No. This website contains all sheetmusic I have transcribed.

2. Could you transcribe ... for me?
No, at the time I'm not transcribing for other people (unless they pay me 3 figures ;) )

3. How do you transcribe sheetmusic?
I used to use Magix Notation 2. (great program!)
But I switched to Finale because Magix wouldn't run on Vista.
I listen to the song for a few days, so that I know it inside out. Sometimes I print the guitar chords - it helps a little to have them but it doesn't matter much if I can't find them.
I open the mp3 file in Adobe Audition or Amazing Slow Downer, select the first few seconds, and loop that. Then I start transcribing, my piano is standing somewhat next to the computer so I often use that to check, and sometimes I just insert the notes into Finale straight away.
Usually the first few parts of a song are more of a struggle. If it's a faster song I can slow it down a little, if there's a lot of other stuff happening (bass/drums/vocals) I try to filter them out a little so I can hear the piano better. When I've got the first part and the refrain it tends to go a little easier, since a lot gets repeated.

4. Who are you?
Corien, 29.
I've had piano lessons from when I was 7 to when I was 19, and I've continued playing on my own after I stopped taking lessons. Both of my piano teachers were classically trained. Classical music has never been my favourite genre (I detest having to play a very strict beat) so my first teacher will be surprised to read that I can play 1 Bach song AND enjoy it.
That said, I had a lot of fun taking lessons from both, the first teacher taught me technique and music theory (I'm afraid the latter didn't stick). The second taught me a lot about chords.
I was sad having to quit lessons from her to go to uni, would have loved to learn more!
In September of 1999 I went to study medicine. Didn't have my own piano - but the uni had a small music room, and I also bought myself a used Fender DG3 sunburst guitar. So: plenty of music, but not that much time.
In January of 2001 I was forced to drop out of med school due to health issues (oh the irony!) that are still ongoing.
I'll spare you the sad boring story, the "plus" side is: lots of TV.
So far there have been 3 very great TV series that got me hooked: Alias, House and Criminal Minds.
The brilliant Hugh Laurie - who plays House - also occasionally plays the piano in the series (and with the Band from TV).
Because of him I started to learn a few more blues-es (I looove blues!), and even a few classical pieces (still not my favourite).
Pretty much, I play what House plays.
Except for jazz, I never got the lack of logic in Jazz.. it's really not my thing.
(Note that in my Hymn to Freedom by Oscar Peterson is still blues, though on the edge of jazz, and it is an incredibly fun song to play!)
